After nearly a year in development, MDGFive.com launches today with it's first "Video Call to Action."
In anticipation for the upcoming MDG Summit, where world leaders will descend on New York City from September 20-22 to review the 10-year progress of the Millennium Declaration, we're asking you to make a 30-second video letting decision-makers know you want investment in safe motherhood and reproductive health programs.
The TOP THREE highest rank videos will be featured on our homepage and promoted extensively in MDGFive.com's outreach.
So here's what you do:
1. Educate yourself on the issue of maternal health by visiting our About Page.
2. Go the REMIXER and start adding photos and videos (don't forget music or spoken word to add sound) from our artists library to make your own personalized 30-second PSA.
3. Add borders or transitions.
4. Save it and forward it..as widely as possible! There are options to send to Facebook, Twitter, etc.but get creative. We've given you embed codes so you can post it on blogs, etc. Need more ideas? Visit our HOW TO HELP section.
5. Get your friends to vote for your video.
6. Voting ends at 12:00am, September 23rd and we'll post the three top winners at noon.
